I
would like to share a quick story with you. Recently, due to health
issues, my family had to make some decisions regarding extra help for my
parents who are still in their own home. Being on the client/client
family member side of this issue really brings a new light to matters.
My siblings and I had never been involved with making these types of
decisions for our parents. Also, our parents were hesitant about having
people they did not know in their home. Mom wanted to hire a family
friend to take care of her and my dad. Although it may be comforting to
have someone you know in your home, there are things to consider before
hiring someone privately, as detailed in the article below by Rona S. Bartelstone. Using an agency, such as At Home Care Group, can provide the peace of mind knowing that:

even more difficult when it's done long distance. There are a host of

Aging bodies are changing bodies. Being mindful and nurturing one’s own health is paramount to
living a healthy and happy life.
Our body is constantly at work, it’s important to tend to it with
nutrition, fresh air, and movement.
Simple morning stretches can help with accident prevention, and will awaken
both body and mind. Taking 10 minutes
each morning to take care of your body will in turn lead to your body taking
care of you. The following
five stretches can be done sitting, perhaps prior to breakfast, and incorporated
into your morning routine.
